We needed a new ply floor laying in our bathroom after some leaks badly damaged the old one. Very few joiners had availability and those who did just gave excuses or reasons why the job was too difficult / annoying to take on. Not George though, he looked at it and solved the problem creatively and efficiently. The standard of work is high. There is no drama or cynicism, he just gets on with the job and tidies up after himself. George is very professional. No hesitation in recommending him.

George was top class from start to finish. I had an initial job to remove a mezzanine balcony and staircase and replace with a stud wall and ceiling. The quote was a thorough and professional process with the work delivered on time, on budget and to a great quality. This resulted in George securing another 3 jobs including building under stairs storage shelves, cladding my garage and also building bin storage. I have no hesitation strongly recommending George and will utilise his services again in the future.

(Front door badly swollen over the winter, the adjoining frame got damaged as we'd forced the door open and shut.) George sorted it out: punctual, well-mannered and polite, a good communicator who went straight to the job. He stripped out the damaged wood, worked new wood in to match the existing design, planed the door thoroughly so that you cannot now see that there had been a problem. He also checked and aligned the locking mechanisms so that the door now works open and shut with ease. Good work for a fair price. Recommended.
